SYNOPSIS |
Get into US borders by illegal ways could be a dramatic journey, but this is not a problem for Reina, a colombian teenager who only wants to live the american dream in NY. Her boyfriend is confused about his feelings and follow her, leaving behind his own dreams and a quite and simple life back in Medellin. When he faces the reality and find out his current situation alone in the big apple and with nothing else in this pockets but hopeless and sadness about his choices, we find out a story about turns and crude reality. |

Simon Brand started his career at age 17 by directing a music video for a local band. He moved to Miami in the late ’80s, where he continued directing music videos and commercials. He has directed more than 200 commercials for clients including Pepsi, Nabisco, BMW, and Coca-Cola. He founded Kree8 Productions and has worked with artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Ricky Martin, and Celia Cruz. In 2003, he moved from Miami to Los Angeles to make his first feature film, Unknown. In January 2008 he premiered his new film called “Paraiso Travel”, a story that brings him close to his roots. He released his third feature Default in the US in 2013. Simon is one of the most sought after directors today, thanks to his bi-cultural background. Simon has been written up in Variety Magazine as “one of the 40 most influential Latin people in Hollywood”. |
