SYNOPSIS At eighty years, Agustin lives with his wife Myriam, the love of his life. Myriam suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and has trouble remembering him. One day, Agustin decides to travel with her to Punta Cana to evoke memories of their youth. At the airport he finds himself in a complicated situation and Agustin realizes that he has to accept his new circumstances with his wife.

DIRECTOR’S BIO 


Javier Castro Márquez, undergraduate in Audiovisual Arts in the Autónoma University of Bucaramanga. Obtained two nominations in the Festival Universitario de Cine y Audiovisuales el Equinoxio, for his critical texts in filmmaking. Strengthening his studies in areas such as writing, directing, and montage. Punta Cana (2015) was his first professional project exercising as a director, screenwriter, montage and co-producer.
Mariana Vargas Galván, born in Bucaramanga, Santander, October 2 of 1992. Undergraduate of The Autónoma University of Bucaramanga, were she had an outstanding academic performance and demonstrated her abilities in writing, directing, and art directing. Punta Cana (2015) is her first professional project and last for the time being, served as director and screenwriter.
